Trampolines are a great way to exercise and socialise for kids and adults alike. Aside from being brilliant fun, trampolining has several proven heath and fitness benefits too! Regular use of trampolines and rebounders increases muscle strength and improves your fitness by elevating your pulse rate and ensuring that oxygen is pumped around your body more efficiently. Regular use of trampolining session, like any other aerobic exercise, will make you feel more alert, fitter and healthier.

Often doctors recommend the use of trampolines to heart patients to help strenghten their heart other than jogging as trampolines produces more aerobic exercise in quick time. A ten minute trampolining session provides the same health benefits as a half hour run and is much more entertaining to boot! Trampolining also uses almost every muscle in the body, especially the stomach muscles, arms and legs, so the activity is ideal to keep your tummy trim, your bottom toned and your thighs slim.

As trampolining have all these health benefits, the biggest concern many mum and dad have is the safety of their children while using the trampolines as they do use them exclusively. Circular 12ft trampolines, 14ft trampolines 10ft trampolines, 8ft trampolines from big, reputable brands normally incorporate safety nets, which encloses the trampoline and avoids any falls or tumbles. Big brands these days have double bounce system employed on the mat as normally most of the injuries occur on the mat. This uses cushioned sprung and two layers of well padded mats to decrease the risk of an accident, it also provides a very friendly bounce for kids and adults and also can hald upto 17 stone adult (but bare is mind that if you use trampolines regularly, you will lost 17 stone in no time!)

Trampolines for outdoor garden are circular to encourage all the bounce is towards the centre for safety reasons and maximum rebound. Rectangular trampolines are really intended for serious, competition-focussed, athletes and probably not the best option if you simply want a fun thing to do in the back yard. So helping to trimming, toning tums and bums, streghthen bones improving fitness and even detoxing your lymphatic system are all side effects of trampolining. To be honest it might just be your mental health that would improve the most. Just the sheer exuderant, excitement and motivation fun of jumping up and down in a safe trampoline in a safe environment will put a smile on people’s face no matter of what age they are!
