Most people learn to play musical equipments when they are young. Some started with guitars and some with drum kits. The times when you are in school is probably the best time to learn musical instruments as it is free and also you have experts helping you out. Many of us are interested in music but playing a musical instrument is another thing, you have to know how to play it for people like me lol. I love music but I cannot play anything and I regret it.
Music experts have said that learning to play from an early age helps you become a better player than a person who is starting to play in the early 30s or late 20s of their life. Everyone knows that to become a very good musician and a very good sportsman you have to start playing at a very young age. Learning drums is a different matter to be honest. Most people think drums are one of the easiest to learn out of many instruments – drum lovers you can argue with them. They say you just need to know one beat and start from that – isn’t that the same for any instruments?. Virtually all major rock beats are built around the basic 4/4 time signature on drums and if you learn to play this beat you can then flex and put in your own mixtures.
Guitars are probably one of the hardest instruments to play. People who play flute, violin and piano might question me here but that’s ok I am up for the challenge. I am not going to explain why in this post as I am just going to be talking about playing drums in this post.
If you are considering learning drums, then I suggest you start learning drums with a metronome. Metronome is a device that will help your sense of timing while playing drums and also help you play in the same tempo. Many instruments these days have metronomes attached to it, if not then you can buy one from your local instrument store. Nowadays to help you learn more efficiently there are extra equipments for all types of instruments like dj equipment, keyboards and many more. You should definitely consider playing at an early age or make sure your children learn from young age.
